This morning I caught THE KILLING OF A SACRED DEER, and this evening I caught Nick, and we saw BRAWL IN CELL BLOCK 99.
Today's films were THE SHAPE OF WATER and THE ENDLESS... as you could have guessed from the title.
Tonight was PRINCESS CYD, written and directed by Stephen Cone, and was the film of which I had the least knowledge or expectations.
Writer-Director Cory Finley originally ran THOROUGHBREDS as a play, and now brings it to the screen in his film debut.
GOOD TIME is an oddly titled crime drama written by Josh Safdie & Ronald Bronstein, directed by Josh & Benny Safdie.
I know it's fickle but the poster for INGRID GOES WEST (written by Matt Spicer & David Branson Smith and directed by Matt Spicer) was gorgeous enough to pique my interest immediately.
Next up is GHOST STORIES, a British semi-anthology horror film written and directed by Jeremy Dyson and Andy Nyman, based on their stage play of the same name.
Tonight's film is TIGER GIRL, directed by Jakob Lass, and while it may seem I'm only seeing films with animals in the title, I assure you it's just coincidence.
